TEDxTeessideUniversityLive

TEDxLive is an extension of the TEDx program, launched by TED in 2010. TEDxLive events are TEDx events built around the live webcast of TED Conferences. TEDxLive events enable TED enthusiasts all over the world to experience live sessions of the TED Conference;

TEDxTeessideUniversityLive will be simulcasting the TEDGlobal 2011 conference in the Phoenix Building, on Wednesday 13th July.   The day will be all about watching amazing speakers through a live stream in a relaxed and informal environment. People are welcome to come along to watch a part or all of the event.  We will be providing refreshments at intervals throughout the day, including a light lunch.

As the event is all about the live stream we request that people coming to watch the event do so respecting others. A network session will take place after the stream which will give everyone the opportunity to talk and share.

The newly set-up company Big Bite Creative who have just taken residence in the Phoenix Building will be sponsoring the evening networking event with beers and a giant game of Pong which they are currently working on.  So for an evening of networking with a twist and a little bit of competition get yourselves along.

A new SPIN on things

With this in mind we would like to invite you to SummerSpin (Solutions, Problems, Ideas Network) event at The Dickens Inn on Thursday 9 June at 5.30pm. read more
