The IDI has successfully brought together Higher Education Institutions, SMEs and public bodies to develop a global voice through a raft of ambitious trans-national projects.  These projects build a new understanding of the needs of the digital creative industries at a global level, and better enable industry and education to work together to anticipate and respond to  these needs.  Our activity helps to position UK and European businesses firmly on the global innovation map.

Digital technology has the unique ability to enable multi-level engagement and facilitate the free flow of knowledge at local and global level.  This capability has resulted in digital technology driving significant societal changes and empowerment opportunities.  In order to take advantage of these opportunities, the IDI is happy to work within existing consortiums who share our passion for discovery and innovation.  We also have the expertise and networks required to lead and manage digital projects, and a proven track record of success on all of our activities.  Our partnerships are founded upon shared goals and commitments with broad ranging scope.  The IDI is dedicated to collaboration and we look forward to working with partners to develop new ideas, explore new opportunities to collaborate across the entire digital spectrum.
