Concept goes to Newcastle
The next quarterly Concept Film Night is a special joint event that we are partnering with NFM on and will be held at NFM’s base at Hoults Yard in Newcastle. It will be a great opportunity for film makers to show their work to a wider audience and expand networks.
Screening films from a number of Northeast film makers across a range of different genres, the showcase is always diverse.
The event will be relaxed and informal and we’ll be providing the usual soft-refreshments but we are also adopting a ‘BYO’ option too. So you are welcome to bring your own alcoholic beverages, wine/beer etc.
Film makers will be there to introduce their films and talk about them in the Q&A session following the film screenings where the audience will get the chance to ask questions and gain knowledge and insight in the industry.
The audience will also be asked to vote for their top 3 favourites shown on the night and the 3 films with the most votes will be entered for the Concept Film Night Awards, taking place early 2012 (more information to follow).
A mini-bus will be available from Middlesbrough to Newcastle leaving at 5pm and returning at 9.30pm with places being £5.00 per person return. Places are limited though.
