A new SPIN on things
Over the past 18 months IDI and TEN (Teesside Enterprise Network) have brought events with a range of speakers talking on a number of different subjects. At our last event attendees asked us to organise more informal events that let them do the talking.
With this in mind we would like to invite you to SummerSpin (Solutions, Problems, Ideas Network) event at The Dickens Inn on Thursday 9 June at 5.30pm.
Why should you attend?
- to chat to other people, in all different types of business, within an informal setting
- to share business ideas
- to give and receive business advice
We want to create a community where local businesses, from all different backgrounds, and not just the digital sector, can keep in touch and share best practice, issues and problems. Following the event we will set up a Facebook and Twitter account where the conversations can continue.
Steve Hale from ShutterMedia Ltd will be on hand to facilitate and encourage conversation and discussion. If you have something you would like Steve to raise as a discussion point please email Christine Wilson by Monday 30 May. Alternatively you can just come along with your ideas on the day.
About Steve
Steve has worked at the high end of the advertising industry in London. Due to the economic downturn, the idea behind ShutterMedia is to create a cost effective form of outdoor advertising for retailers. Shutter Media has also branched out into virtual shops, taking closed premises and using the latest 3D designs to change the look of town centres and high streets that have vacant shops.
