Big Jump a Big Success
The Northern Rock Foundation Hall at the Sage in Gateshead was filled to capacity for the recent BIG JUMP event, and it was terrific to see so many people clearly focused on how social enterprise could offer real opportunities for the future.
The BIG JUMP was hosted by Linda Rutter, who inspired all with her passion and vision for what social enterprise could offer the region and UK. In addition, we had a terrific opening session facilitated by Claire Maxwell, which was followed by inspiring talks from Kate Welch, Gary Stott and Herb Kim.
We also had 4 workshop sessions on: Making the Transition; Funding to Finance; The Future of Social Enterprise and Going it Alone. Our thanks to everyone who led workshops, and it’s worth mentioning they all had very positive feedback from participants.
The BIG JUMP was sponsored by the Institute of Digital Innovation and the RSA Catalyst fund, created for RSA Fellows to work together to achieve an enlightened society of inspired, resourceful and fulfilled people.
